A big hello to everyone!

It has been a great summer so far and we are in one of our busiest seasons of the year.  We have enjoyed caring for dogs, geckos, parrots, koi, turtles, cats and chickens.  Please be reminded that our services are first reserved first served.  Try to make your reservations as soon as possible so we can say yes to your requests for service.

Homemade Flea Treatment

8 oz. apple cider vinegar         4 oz. warm water

1/2 tsp. baking soda                1/2 tsp. salt

Mix dry ingredients first then slowly add water and vinegar.  The vinegar and soda will fizz so don’t think you’ve done something wrong.  Once it is mixed, put into a spray bottle and use about once a week.  If there is any settling of the baking soda, stir to mix it up again.

Pet Pockets for Kids – Rats

Rats can make wonderful pets: they are smart, easy to train and can be extreamly affectionate.  They need daily love and attention, but don’t require walks around the block or a large area to explore.Relatively speaking, they are low maintenance pets.

The best foods for a rat: Whole wheat grains (wheat, millet, rice, quinoa, etc.) Blueberries, broccoli, dark veggies and cooked yams.  Your pet is your beloved companion.  Unlike a dog or cat, living with your rat won’t be a decages-long experience.

Rats have unique personalities and love to play with toys and puzzles.  Rats are hardier than hamsters and typically live longer than them to.  Rats don’t have the reputation for biting like hamsters have either.

Thank you clients for your business.
